As Tiffany’s Show in Pattaya approaches its 50th anniversary in 2025, it stands as a significant landmark in the history of entertainment, having been established in 1974 by Senator Sutham Phanthusak. This iconic show pioneered the transgender cabaret scene not only in Thailand but also on a global scale.
Over the decades, Tiffany’s Show has become a cultural icon in Pattaya and a major tourist attraction, consistently drawing full houses due to its sustained popularity and appeal. It played a pivotal role in promoting LGBTQ+ visibility and acceptance through its engaging performances. The Phanthusak family acknowledges Pattaya’s significance to the Tiffanys brand and is committed to giving back to the community through high-quality performances.
In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Tiffany’s Show is revealing a completely new production titled “Crystalise a Dream.” Designed to captivate audiences, this 75-minute show consists of nine acts, each exploring themes such as Pattaya, To Dream, and Fashionista.
New costumes crafted by international designers and original songs aim to refresh the aesthetic experience. The production embraces a new brand vision, “Open Beyond the Eye,” which emphasizes diversity and encourages audiences to see beyond appearances, reflecting a broad spectrum of life experiences and individual dreams.
Technological innovation is at the core of this anniversary production. Cutting-edge LED technology will enhance the visual spectacle, marking a shift from traditional staging to a more immersive, high-tech presentation. The Phanthusak family, who leads the PTS Group, has committed to integrating these advances to ensure the show remains a trailblazer in performance art.
To accommodate these technological advancements, the theater underwent a brief three-week hiatus for upgrades. The intention is to offer a transformed and modernized show experience, bringing a new dimension of entertainment to audiences beyond previous productions.
Following the passing of its founder, the show is now managed by family members, with Alisa Phanthusak Kunpalin serving as the Managing Director.
The family has expanded the brand beyond the stage into hospitality and lifestyle businesses, maintaining the founder’s vision of boldness and innovation. Embracing diversity and inclusion remains central to their leadership.
Tiffany’s Show continues to be a trailblazer for transgender performers and a beacon for diversity and inclusivity in Pattaya. It challenges audiences to question norms and embrace identities beyond appearances, celebrating 50 years of reflection and progress through the performing arts.
