EDC Thailand 2026 is moving to Rhythm Park at Laguna Phuket, a purpose-built venue with larger grounds and upgraded infrastructure tailored for music festivals and cultural events. The new site enhances attendee capacity, crowd movement, and production abilities, setting the stage for a more immersive and secure experience from January 16–18, 2026. With the addition of Hotel EDC and integrated beachfront lodging, the festival aims to redefine luxury and convenience for participants. Further information details additional improvements and festival features.
As EDC Thailand prepares for its 2026 edition, organizers have announced that the festival will take place at Rhythm Park, a newly developed venue within Laguna Phuket. This move positions EDC Thailand at the center of one of the island’s largest integrated resort complexes, offering a strategic location near Boat Avenue for convenient access.
Rhythm Park, intentionally designed for large-scale music festivals and cultural events, brings enhanced crowd flow, expanded grounds, and increased production capacity to accommodate multiple stages and a broader audience. As Phuket’s new cultural hub, Rhythm Park is set to host not only EDC but a range of future international events, establishing a vibrant epicenter for the region’s music and arts scene.
Scheduled for January 16–18, 2026, EDC Thailand’s three-day festival will leverage Rhythm Park’s infrastructure to deliver a more spacious and immersive experience. The venue’s design supports the festival’s signature blend of music, luxury, and community, featuring full-size carnival rides, interactive performers, and large-scale art installations.
Organizers have emphasized that the park’s layout is optimized for both attendee movement and technical production needs, addressing feedback from previous editions regarding crowd comfort and space.
Ticket presales began on May 2, 2025, with three-day passes starting at $195, and options for general admission or VIP experiences. Early bird discounts are available, and tickets can be purchased online through the official EDC Thailand website.
As part of the festival’s preparations, organizers have implemented advanced security protocols to ensure attendee safety and protect the event from online threats.
The festival aims to attract both local and international visitors, aligning with Insomniac’s broader expansion into Southeast Asia, which already includes events such as EDC China and EDC Korea.
A notable addition for 2026 is the introduction of Hotel EDC, the first of its kind in Thailand, which integrates accommodations directly into the festival experience. The five-star Angsana Laguna Phuket by Accor serves as the official festival hotel, providing beachfront lodging as part of a curated resort concept.
This integration is intended to deliver a thorough luxury experience for attendees.
